Threadbox with Stripe

Billing questions are some of the most common and most sensitive support requests. The Stripe app matches the customer's email to a Stripe customer and shows their subscriptions, recent payments and any failed charges beside the thread, so agents can answer 'why was I charged' without asking finance.

It uses a restricted, read-only key, so support never has the ability to issue refunds or change subscriptions from Threadbox.

Billing context beside the conversation

When a thread opens, Threadbox finds the Stripe customer by email and shows active subscriptions, the last few payments and whether the account is in good standing.

Safe by design

The app only needs a restricted key with read access. Credentials are encrypted at rest and requests are made server-side.

Let the AI agent answer too

For self-service, a custom action can fetch invoice or subscription details for a signed-in customer so the AI agent answers routine billing questions on its own.

FAQ
